1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using InventoriZen Free, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable service.
2. License
Subject to these terms and any applicable Microsoft Store license terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use InventoriZen Free for lawful personal or business inventory management. The app is licensed, not sold.
3. Permitted use
You may use the app to maintain your own authorized inventory records. You may not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, bypass access or licensing controls, distribute unauthorized copies, misuse the service, or use it in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
4. Your data and responsibilities
You control the information entered into the Free app and are responsible for its accuracy, legality and security. You must protect your Windows account and device, restrict unauthorized access, and maintain independent copies of records that are important to your business.
5. Inventory and report accuracy
Software can contain defects, and results depend on the information entered. Review quantities, prices, calculations, exports and reports before relying on them. Basic reports and estimated values are operational aids, not audited accounts, tax calculations or professional advice.
6. Availability and changes
We may improve, modify or discontinue app or website features. Standard and Pro features shown as “Coming soon” are a roadmap, not a promise of a specific date, price or final specification. We will disclose material purchase terms before accepting payment.
7. Microsoft Store and future purchases
Microsoft may govern acquisition, installation, licensing, refunds and updates through separate Store terms. If paid plans launch, the applicable Store listing and purchase screen will provide price, billing and cancellation information.
8. Third-party services
Windows, Microsoft Store, your device, email provider and hosting provider are third-party services governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policies or security practices.
9. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free results, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InventoriZen and its publisher will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data arising from use or inability to use the app or website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for the affected product during the preceding twelve months, or the minimum amount permitted by law for a free product.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may terminate or restrict a license where permitted if these terms are materially violated. Before uninstalling, preserve any local data you need.
12. Governing terms
Applicable mandatory consumer laws remain in force. Otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws applicable where the publisher is established, without applying conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be handled by courts with lawful jurisdiction.
