1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how InventoriZen (“InventoriZen,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use the InventoriZen Free Windows application or visit this website.
2. Data stored by the Windows app
InventoriZen Free may store business profile information, product and category records, item codes, prices, quantities, stock movements, preferences and other information you enter. This information is stored locally on your Windows device.
The Free version does not require an InventoriZen account and does not transmit this local inventory data to us. It contains no advertising SDK and no developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting service.
3. Files you create or select
If the app offers an export, image selection or backup function, you choose the file and destination. Those files may contain business or contact information. You are responsible for storing, sharing and deleting your copies securely.
4. Website information
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking pixels by default. It does not provide an account system or web form that stores your information.
If you email support, we receive your email address, message and any files you choose to attach. We use that information to respond, investigate problems and maintain a reasonable support record. Do not send passwords, payment-card data or full inventory backups unless specifically requested through a verified support exchange.
5. Hosting and technical logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may temporarily process IP addresses, timestamps, requested pages, device/browser information and security logs to deliver and protect the service. Retention and access depend on the hosting provider selected by the publisher. We do not use those logs to build advertising profiles.
6. Microsoft Store
Microsoft independently handles Store search, acquisition, licensing, delivery, updates and related diagnostics under Microsoft’s own terms and privacy statement. We do not control Microsoft’s processing.
7. Retention and deletion
Local application data remains on your device until you remove it, uninstall the app, or Windows removes it. Uninstall behavior may vary, so preserve any records you need before uninstalling. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, security and legal obligations.
8. Children
InventoriZen is a business inventory tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an InventoriZen account because the Free app has no such account system.
9. Future Standard and Pro services
Planned paid plans may introduce cloud backup, synchronization, mobile alerts or multi-device features. Those features are not currently available. Before launch, this policy and the in-app notices will be updated to explain any cloud processing, choices and retention.
10. Security
We design the Free app to minimize data transfer by keeping data local. You remain responsible for Windows account security, device encryption, malware protection, access permissions and any copies you export or back up.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product, website or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will identify the latest version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate product or website notice.
